meido
recently ive been getting some exposure with maid culture.
not the Indonesian/Philippine maids, mind you.
but, the japanese maid cafe kind.
see, I recently had the fortune of chancing upon this really great article written by the Gender studies/School of culture of ANU (Australian National U)

really, awesome article and makes a good read, because i think it makes some effort in explaining the trends and culture shifts in japan.
its somewhat like reading a socio article.
