just one small thing.
my side was told off from the indonesian guests that we should never refer to them as indons.
simply because its derogatory, in the sense that it implies indonesian maids when u refer to the word indons.
and referring to japanese things as jap stuff.
honestly i have gotten used to the way of SGspeak, but it still churns my stomach a little to hear it.
jap jap jap. why dont anyone find it awkward.
another of those.. phrases that became somewhat tricky to use during/after the WWII.
