the way ahead

i just received my letter from nus
it says that i cld choose.. to change my desired faculty if i wish to

should i really reconsider?

my dad came again and told me not to go into fass. he prefers me in business.
how practical, yet i cant help but agree and favour the sense of.. security

but i was annoyed by the way he put his msg across.

shall not elaborate.

today, i spoke to my smallboss and bigboss, both of whom are really well educated and knowledgable people

critical with opinions, so to speak

and i was given much advice about the courses to take and consider. but more importantly, they shared intellectually stimulating insights on the future. projections, abit of socio economical issues and thisthat.

the future ahead and the things to consider.

and i was thrown this one important question. will singapore still be as viable and attractive a place to stay in 30yrs to come?

i think i was given much room for thought, and alot to consider.

because ultimately what you studyis only dependant on the society we live in; and here being SG. perhaps following the norm would be the secure option

hmm. it dawned upon me how i have been sucked into escapism for the past few years.
with much limited knowledge now, i realise i couldnt make my own critical judgement.

everyone's already chosen their road.

but really. who doesnt choose to live in the lofty dreams instead.

its hard to wake up from a coma
