surprises!

in the morning as i went to work.
the sun has yet to wake.

i pick up the bag, slinging it on one side with my hand.

then, there was this weird, soft fluttery sensation.
that lingered around my wrist and fingers for a second or two.

it felt like a moth;
until, from the corner of my eye, i saw the lizard jump to the floor and dart across the room quickly..;

GWAAH!

... ... ... ... ...

lols. that was over anyway.

the second thing that gave me a surprise (more than a shock, as is the one above)
happened to be a person making a manual vocaloid bank for..

non other than the much respected Utada Hikaru.

as if using vocaloid software wasnt hard enough, this one meant manually sampling and providing for the voice banks for all the sounds/Phonemes from the song tracks.

and then after that, still putting back all the phonemes back into the song, adjusting pitch and the such so that it suits..

its real, real hard work. i dont think i can even fully imagine the technical difficulty involved.

but so. here's the Utada Hikaru track, produced by some crazy niconico douga user.

"kokoro"

i dont ever think i cld imagine her singing a vocaloid themed song, as is this one with all the technomix. ahaha, but here we are.

her voice sounds.. honestly, it still felt somewhat choppy, but really such great production should be appreciated.

and the way the vocaloid dragged some of the parts.. was totally like her. i guess that portion was sampled really well.

nothing to say, but praise.

even the lady herself tweeted "They did such a good job on this~! I applaud whoever made this!"

ahaha. now ill wait and see if the user/team of people continue to make goodstuff.
her hiatus wont be such a pain then.
