a link of dreams to dreams.

oh, good morning.

i just got a dream..
whereby i was some gundam pilot
with really good spatial awareness.

which i do wish i had, but anyway.

that was some random dream o.o
i guess, the gundam animated series really had quite.. alot of affinity with my life.

the one i caught as a very young kid, gundam wing, which had no impression upon me.
until i heard of "Just communication" by two-mix a few years back, did the very strong sense of deja vu hit me.

well. i recalled, eventually.

and gundam (seed) was the anime i'd accredit.. for my slow acceptance of japanese music.
it opened the way so to speak.

initially, i started from the theme songs.
back then, it was the names of Nami Tamaki, TM Revolution, Two Mix, HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR.

soon, it became the fact that i wanted to expand further beyond,
and the big names of the industry started popping out.

ayumi.
the empress of the jpop scene then.

then soon it came to the others biggest competitors of the time
koda kumi, suzuki ami, and also.. well
utada.. who stuck with me ^.^

along the way, friends introducing more,
as is YUI, from a particular junior of mine.
and mihimaru GT, from fellow jpop enthusiast aaron-san.

im not sure how i came to stumble upon the defunct band, WANDS.
then there was kobukuro, which my uncle introduced.

there was morning musume, which at that time could ultimately not be avoided.
their presence in the industry as the girl group of that time.
it was astonishing.

and on a certain flight, towards a certain place a few years ago (was it to USA?)
on the inflight entertainment system, there and then, i chanced upon my greatest gem,
Ikimonogakari.

was hit by the natsuzora graffiti, and more importantly, one very important song i'd never forget,
akaneiro no yakusoku, which i give my highest form of regard for being the song that expanded my imagination and excited my senses.

well, thereafter everything felt recent, like from only the past year.

i went on youtube, and came to know of great people who gave really great jpop recommendations every week.

then, the names like Kana Nishino came about.
as is the great seiyuus, shoko, aya hirano, nana mizuki.
the two great girl bands, Stereopony and SCANDAL.

and of course, AKB48.

sidetracked occasionally, as is to metalband Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet-
and alot more recently, theatre dreamgroup Sound Horizon.

so here am i, at the present form of my jpop journey, looking out really much for about anything.

its like investment, finding good ones, new things, old but good ones.
im speculating, especially on the likes of new stars Kana Nishino, Miliyah Kato, May'n.

and old ones, Girl Next Door, Dreams Come True..

im glad that.. every single piece of music in my library tells a story.
so, where shall this road lead me from here?
