musical style; and a utada
i'd like to reach the ability one day, when i could really be able to hear a certain piece of music and recognise it for its genre, its styles and musical patterns.
happened that i was reading on Blues awhile ago, and i heard samples of it which felt like country music, something not exactly blue, come to think of it.
or perhaps i was listening to the subgenre of country blues.
ah, whaddeva.
Utada-sama is going on hiatus next year, and before she does so, she's releasing a few of her new songs.
Her new digital single, "Hymne à l'amour ~愛のアンセム~" is not exactly a new song, but actl a cover of an old song.
A jazz song of such an extent O: !
honestly i think its kind of sexy and quite unprecedented to hear such a song from her. but she's always trying different styles, so i guess its fun too.
and she has a whole part in french :p
that sense of relaxed style just got brought up another level. id be sure to enjoy it on my quiet little night again.
