anyway, my first song is by Japan's hottest mom, namie amuro. supposingly they surveyed people and stuff and she was polled the no1 mom in terms of looks i suppose.

im usually not a fan of hers, because contrary to belief, i dont simply go for looks. her music usually comprises of heavy dance tunes which doesnt exactly cater to my tastes often.
this one is different because its just R&B, which is quite nice actl. probably my first amuro song im getting after fiddling in jpop for the many years.
i think hot moms are cool. but not exactly necessary. i prefer moms who are young at heart.
next, i bring beni's new song called Heaven's Door, which is quite a nice ballad

id strongly suggest one to listen and watch to it, only and ONLY IF you are in mood for it.
The song title actually means "Lonely Me", which is quite a title. The song's quite filled with sadness and melancholy, as is the PV.
and the reason why i dont want people to anyhow watch this, is simply because its just a waste if one is not in the right mood. else the PV will just be staring at her quite blankly [and itll be boring]
such a complex, deep emotion should be well saved for special times to savour.
honestly i think the pain can be subtly dramatised further, but i think her voice really suits the lonliness she wishes to portray. it helps that accompanying instrumentals are quite charming and delicate too.
parts of the clip show her recalling the past, that part that seems like film being replayed. id like to see it as reminiscing a (happy) past
she smiles, quite sadly the way people do at fond memories.
and then she soaks in the petal bath at the end. ups the drama. followed by the ending scene of an overflowing tub, which can be interpreted in many ways.
for me, id have interpreted it as an act of submerging..
hearing it in the wrong state of mind may lead to suicide. how devastatingly beautiful.
Lonely Me, was it? five minutes to capture the long stretch of emotional turbulence, splendidly portrayed.
