recently i was stunned by a certain japanese song, because of the promotional video. which i shall not mention here because of all the controversies it has stirred up..
the shock effect is still lingering..!
but ohwell.
got some music to bring. i caught the jpop news recently. realised chemistry is releasing a new song as a newlimited time group, chemistry+synergy
heard its gonna be a dance tune, with dance moves.. chotto, chemistry with dance?!
not bad. haha, considering dont see them doing it often. but ohwell, more room for improvement.
my next is nana mizuki's "july 7th"
this is really, really nice, soothing, slow, easy listening. very charming song, to me, because it has minimal instrumentals throughout, and the voice is really a focal point.
i like to hear all the subtle emotions. its this kind of song that requires the whole world to be shut out, the kind of song that really inspires me to get very capable headphones [ sennheiser, anyone? (: ]
noise cancelling, with intrinsicate balance for reporoduction of vocals and instruments, NOT just good with bass.
To end off today's very nice post, i have my most favourite song of the week, probably.
By my all time favourite, Ikimonogakari, Kimi ga iru
The song's really up. really great ikimonogakari upbeat standards, which im very pleased.
and the video makes me really happy, because i think i appreciate the simplicity and concept involved. its not bizaare, or flashy, but presents me certain creative art/design concepts, great work of colour schemes, rotations, framing, visualisations, composition..
because the pv caters to my subtle artisical design desires as well as my jpop ears, on top of my ikimonogakari fandom, the overal effect is a very gratifying one.
PS: have alotalot more jpop introductions to make today, but in a rush, so i had to cover ikimonogakari's, which i felt was really significant to me.
