was working yesterday night when a certain piece kept playing in my head.
i sometimes like it when a certain piece plays. shows what i like.
this time, its watariroka hashiritai's "seishun no flag"
the first time i heard the song.. i was just like, oh. quite usual. the flag waving part was.. well, okay too, didnt make me flutter or anything exceptional.
but i think its youthfulness grew on me, so i finally bring it here altho its been released for a few wks.
not bad. and mayuyu really gets her screentime this time. the cyborg looks cute here, and not really that robotic, so no complains (>_<)
since im on jpop i'll just bring a whole load of jpop posts at ago.
1. aya hirano
the seiyuu aya hirano recently released a new song called "hysteric barbie" the title itself suggests something weird going on.. but lets see anyw.
so this is aya hirano? i am honestly quite shocked by her image change. the previous time i brought her "bouken desho desho" which was so full of cuteness.
and this time its cute too i guess, but gone totally bimbo. and a change in song genre, to a heavily jrock styled one.
i am convinced by her total shift in vocal range tho, because i have heard it for myself long ago.
interestingly versatile, does she want to prove that?
2. Girl next door i've always wanted to bring them [its not just a girl -.- its a band] here, but somehw i stalled.. for a few mths?!
anyway this song "orion" has been on my waiting list of songs for like eons. think since start of the year, and finally i present the song
mmhmm. this song is quite catchy to me because it utilises the jpop hook technique. that pattern, its so recognisable!
really a standard song in jpop styles. but not boring because.. they executed it quite well. charming and expressive ><
AND then they had to come out with another song recently, which i find the video quite.. how to put. Entertaining.
i bring "freedom"
whats with all the USA, one might wonder. hoho, political message much? but anyway, i think their music style shifted in this song, to a dance oriented one. but ohwell, the main focus i want to highlight is really on the dance.
i somehow like the rigidity and.. disciplinary feeling of its dance. its soooo wacko and comical, i was laughing at it from start to finish.
perhaps its the no5 costume that generals wear. i was reminded of kim jong il and his suit [looks like much?] and was thinking what if he was dancing..? >.<
but on a more serious note. i think the new generation of soldiers should abolish footdrills. we can learn from them and do serious drill dance.
wickedly awesome and fun~!
gee. im supposed to be sleeping now. but i hate it because time just flies on the bed sofa
still got a few songs to sample. really lagging here. ohwell.
