AKB48 - Anata ga ite kureta kara

I bring today, a very new release, which was just out in japan yesterday on the 14 july.

AKB48's newest single, あなたがいてくるてから

Personally i find this song a very touching one. and when i saw the video, think its really heartwarming.

it means alot to fans like us.

without further ado,

the very first scene of the corridor filled with their photos is AKB48's theatre. well, actually its the entrance area

and then the next scne is the real theatre, with the seats and the stage and stuff.

basically the video shows how they started as little girls and then how they went through all the hardship and stuff.
i see alot of bonding too, which is obviously the nice part of AKB. see that all the time, their tv shows, their offscreen life always hanging out together..

The video is composed totally of past footage of performances and stuff. a little sad, because its just somewhat like a slideshow montage thing. i was hoping there would be some new dance at the back of the video.

but that's ok. at least i caught them performing it on their Tv programme

a friend gave an interesting quote "Our strength is their motivation"
underlying this concept, i see the ways it was exemplified, the interlinks between fans and idols that support each other.

Their hardship spurs the fans to support them even more, as is this song, and increased sales and support push them to do more.

such a cycle persists.
ah crap, i dont even intend to analyse this.

anyway, alittle trivia on the AKB48 theatre

located in Akihabara, its the place where all fans dream of going when they go to Japan. where all their usual performances are held on regular basis.

like 10 over shows per month or something, with tix costing only 2000 yen = 20+ SGD. granted, its not some big concert or something.

you can only buy the entrance ticket on the day itself [that sucks!] so queues get quite long. and since only limited to 240 per day, i guess its just too bad if they run out. means have to come back to re-queue another day.

but still. ill have that on my itinerary if i go JP once agn.
