Dreams come true, or DCT, is a band formed in 1988. when i wasnt even born.
a very old band with a very long history. those who like older songs can find their earlier ones.
doesnt appeal to me that much, so im mainly giving it a miss on my post.
i bring their latest song, nee [pronounced as neh, and not nii]
to me, the song preserves quite abit of her old style without sounding old as a song. well, for a band to come so far, they have adapted to the times quite well i think.
starting deep and rich with emotion, i liked it when they injected the group singing halfway into the song. the element of fun was still evident, tho not as wild like her young days. haha.
i cant believe that im listening to a singer from my mom's generation, and is almost as old as my mom. if i hadnt mentioned they were around for 20 years in the music industry, how old do you suppose she'd be?
certainly not 45, not in my eyes. haha. i think she is really awesome~.~
the next im introducing is called "Good bye my school days"
it has a very quirky way of its song presentation.. as we shall see.
i did give my warning. heh. it sounded like a remix of a few versions. to clarify my queries, i went on google and found that the single contained 4 tracks

there.. so the pv actually put in the 4 different tracks.
the cutting of tracks sounded slightly awkward but i smiled at the idea. so, not complains for me.
in addition i learned that the song was penned by our vocalist many years ago in her schooling days, that she saved up for this moment, for DCT's 20th anniversary. woah~
the last of DCT i bring now is called "Snow dance", released before the millenium at dec 1999. much older than the songs above.
the previous 2 were released like only a few mths back and 1 yr back respectively.
the style of song feels older, but i quite like it as its not too oldies type of japanese. [the oldies type i like is perhaps.. country/folk?]
and i like the pv direction. its a simple, one shot video that i find quite astonishing. remarkable, indeed :p
