latale
in another episode of mmorpg,
i went surfing for another 2d side scroller.
"La Tale" be its name.
its heavily themed on anime-ish styled characters instead of the usual tiny cartoon aka maple type.
haha, i must admit i got drawn by its cutesy characters.
in addition, there are interesting "classes" that appealed further.
say, a magician class that casts spells using a guitar.
wickedly cool. muahaha
and not to mention, another fav of anime fans, MECHA
ROAR. that was really cool.
whats there for otakus not to like?
cute girls wielding crazy blades, guns, guitars, or even in mecha suits..
i read enough, seen enough screenies, so i went straight to youtube and found the gameplay footage of "3rd job" skills
i was like. WOAH. some of the skills are totally my type. humorous!
smash that piano. uhh, and was that emptying of treasure chests o.o?
However, that being said,
the game was a total disappointment.
why so.
firstly, upon trying, game experience was poor.
controls were not intuitive. they suck, be it climbing ladders, running.
also, language mistakes were aplenty. translation was poorly done, which was a sad thing.
the tutorial was also very haphazardly made. failed to help beginners new to the game.
i ended the game much quicker than wonderking.
one was a great letdown, one was a strong contender.
but then, ohwell, not in any mood for hardcore mmos.. for now.
