i was so :@
today i was left to feel quite crabby.
the quite lousy ortho specialist at cgh did not ever listen to any of my pains yest
and then he simply shut me after every sentence with things like, its okay. blahblah.
and he flips through the files quickly, scribbles quickly, and tells me to go off quickly.
"i need a memo for my camp doc" i said.
yes yes, and he quickly typed a few comments into a med cert which WAS NOT a memo.
i was told by the camp MO [med officer/doc] today that the mc would not work and he needs a memo else i cannot schedule for a medical board to review my status.
wonderous.
and i left the med center, thinking that my memo could only be attained on my next apptm, which is a mth away, and long after nop[naval orientation prog] ends.
wont i be like dropdead by then. or my knee would have fallen off o.o
bahzx.
i called the cgh hotline, where the operator sent a fax to the clinic to req for the doc to write a letter.
in a short jiffy an hr, the clinic received my request when they called.
and in a few more hrs, i was told that my letter was ready for collection.
i admire cgh's amazing speed and efifciency in completing tasks.
in positive ways, the way they handled a fax frm call center>clinic>doctor. nice.
and in negative ways, exemplified by how that particular specialist just wanted to clear patients as fast as possible.
i hold a high regard for our healthcare professionals, as it is a vocation i admit i was/am inspired to work towards.
"for my people","for the greater good", or maybe, "for that every smile"
so please dont ruin my great image any further.
PS: I think there are many nice looking radiologists lurking in the depths of cgh basement.
totally awesome to get my xray done. tho she too, was in a rush to finish the photo shot and close the studio.
